Here she is!
I know a lot of you are wondering what happend to us...again. Well, Wings had her baby and the sleep is hard to find. It goes like this....Heaven cries.....Then Angel cries because she can't make her stop crying. It's been like that for weeks. I pretty sure that's when I got my headache. Allison has been handling a huge problem at work. Hopefully she will write about that soon.

Cassie's Wonderful Wedding
Well, Cassie's wedding was AWESOME! She was beautiful, and Mike was so handsome! They love each other so much, and it's very apparent! I am so happy for our little, Cassiegirl! I'm such a sap. I have the Hawaiiany, "Over the Rainbow," song in my head, (the processional), and if I try to sing it out loud, I choke and well up. Heh, heh! Whew! I'm doing it right now! Dang!
Such taste! Such tasty choices! Yes, the food was yummy! The flowers; beautiful, the bridesmaids; gorgeous, the groomsmen; spiffy! Need I go on? Everything was just perfect!
Now, I suffer from agorophobia, (the fear of leaving my house), and yes, folks, I had it about this trip and the next one. But I gotta tell ya, I CAN'T WAIT to go back to Cayucos! My dogs were fine, here with Wings and Day Day, and I had a wonderful time in the absolutely gorgeous suites we stayed in, and on the beach! I had a freakin' little vacation! I haven't had a vacation since PurpleOceanMoon and I took her husband Greg and the kids down to Disneyland for his last trip. That was like, seven years ago! So, thanks for giving me a wonderful vacation too, Cassie! I think we all owe her thanks, eh?
I was making fun of MrManuel, Cassie's brother, saying, "are you going to cry, Manuel! Ha, ha!" Well, as soon as I saw her, I did the choking and welling thing. Lip quivering; the whole shemeal. But Manuel did a wonderful job as officiant! No crying, no blubbering. He married his sister to Mike in a composed and dignified way. Good job, Man!
You know what? My aunt knows how to party. I gotta mention that! The rehearsal dinner was jumpin! My mom got so wasted! I haven't seen her that drunk in a long, long time! Guess you were blowing off a few years of steam, eh, Mom?
Miss Rabbit brought her boyfriend, Matt along, since Wings is almost about to pop, and couldn't go. Matt was a joy to watch because the poor boy had never been out of Sacramento except once, to Six Flaggs. He had never seen the ocean. He LOVED it, and played in the surf with Seth as long as he could. What a sweetheart! He was so grateful and happy to be with us. I'm so glad our family was able to provide that for him.
Well, I'd say more, but I think this is turning out to be another big post. So, beautiful job, Cassie and Nana! It was just wonderful!

Well, peoples! I've done it!

Yes! I have summoned the energy to post tonight! Was it the nice, slow Monday I had, or the fact that I just now took my medicine? But, no! Crazy Bitch is not in a coma, nor a catatonic state! It seems I have just been havin' a BITCH of a time!
The last two weeks of June and the first week of July, I was kicked out of my own home. I was told by my landlady's contractor that I would have to be out of the house for approximately three days. Day after day went by, and I would go to my house after dinner to feed my confused cats, and I would NOT be living there, as told. No, I was a vagabond for not three days, but THREE WEEKS! My son, dogs and I traveled between my mom and dad's house and my sisters as the endless days dragged by. When I was told I could finally move in, I didn't believe the guy, and I was right to do so. It turned out that it WAS NOT the day I could move back in because the floor guy got fired and then they needed a well deserved weekend off. They would be done Monday evening. Well, who was I to keep hard working, fast moving guys from a weekend off? But I did get to move in, but it being a Monday, I had to dust things off and put them away over the week. No, that wasn't exhausting! My house looks nice, but now I want all new furniture.
The whole time I was dealing with the house thing, I had to get used to this paralegal at work. She is quite the bitch, but is now being much nicer to me, as I help her a lot. Something is always wrong with her and she always forgets an appointment she had right about 3:30 or 4 and has to rush out of the office. Most of the time it happens right after the boss leaves. Many days she doesn't come in until noon! I just listen to her many woes and give her sympathy so she'll feel comfortable leaving. That's when I finish my work and read true ghost stories on Obiwan's UFO Free Paranormal Page! Ah! Good times.
I went to my cousin, Cassie's bridal shower, and boy was it fun! It had a Hawaiian theme, and was a blast. We had cranberry juice mimosa! My aunt made the most delicious thing: a Stuffed French Toast Casserole! I emailed her for the recipe, and made it Saturday/Sunday morning! It wasn't as good as my aunts, but I am already thinking of ways to tweak it. Thanks, Nana!
Wings had her baby shower, and it was also fun! We sat in the shade of her grandpa's dedicated tree and right by her grandma and dad's trees at the local park. The morning was cool, and the food was good. She got everything she needed. I took her shopping this weekend to buy the things she didn't get, so she's pretty much set.
The next thing, is Cassie's wedding! Yay! My cousin Cassie has such exquisite taste! The wedding ought to be just lovely! I am so happy for her, and I can't wait. She and her fiance' have been together since they were kids, and I hope they are together for the rest of their lives, with even more happiness!
I have an outfit for her wedding already, but I still need to go shopping for my other cousin, Michael's wedding. He also has good taste, and wanted a big wedding! He is marrying a very nice girl, who just fits right in! I am looking forward to seeing my aunt Sue's side of the family! Last time I saw them was at my cousin Valerie's wedding! Jenn and I used to play with Auntie Sue's nieces, Rhonda and Tammy. Jenn used to play with Rhonda, and I used to play with Tammy. They grew up to be cool chicks, of course, and I am looking forward to seeing them again.
Lots to look forward to, and a lot to look back on. Whew! It's been quite a busy summer, eh?
The New House!

As you all know by now, the girls and I have moved into a house. It has three bedrooms. The one that Wings lives in is a bedroom/laundry room. I thought with the baby coming it might help. It has a nice yard for my Moonie. Sometimes when I come home she’s out there laying on the grass. What a life! Miss Rabbit has the kitties with her in her room. Since this is case now, the cat box is a lot cleaner! Thanks Rose!
The only thing that sucked was the oven. It’s Brand New! When I turned it on it would get hot, but not like it should have. It took me an hour to cook eggs. WTF! I told my property management and the guy came out today and fixed it. Yea!!! I guess my house needed to re-boot. Ha ha. He just flipped the breaker. Man, I would have done it. If I knew where it was. LOL

Some tired Bitches!

Man, July was the busiest month that I've had in a long time. Whew! I went to Pasadena for a week, came back and moved to a new house. Then my cousin's bridal shower (which was beautiful). And yesterday, Wing's had her baby shower. I'm so tired today. I could really sleep for a week.
Angel is just tired of not seeing her feet anymore. She has 8 weeks left. Then she can see her feet all she wants. I know after I had Rosemay, I had a new respect for my feet and have taken better care of them since.
Rose is never really tired. She just moves a litte slower.
I'll let Allison speak for herself. LOL!
I'm going to rest now...........(snore)

What's up with those Bitches?

Dude,
Allison's home has been torn apart. They took the floor and THE BATHROOM out. So, we can't get to the computer. It was only supposed to take three days. Almost three WEEKS later and the process is slow going.
I'm getting ready to go to Pasadena on a business trip and we're going to move on the 14th. Crazy, yes I am.
I'll try and keep everyone posted

Have You Noticed?
I have new blogs that I read! They help me express the many sides of me.
Shamans in the Raw: These people study the ancient and modern wisdom of the Earth. They help me focus on what is important, and what a blessing life is.
Hip Hop Honkies: This blog is new and very entertaining to read! These guys are funny! Although I am not, "Hip Hop," I am, however, a "honkie."
Pink Star: This blog also new and is written by a woman who is a bit like me. I LOVE the name of her blog!! She is a mom and tries to be a good person. Sometimes there are recipies!
I found these blogs one day, when I decided to just keep clicking, "next blog." Glad I did!

And now for some good news!
So many things have happened over the last two weeks. I really don't know where to start.
Angelia- It's official..... It's a Girl!!!!!! Angel is going to have a tiny baby girl! I'm so happy for her. She is going to name her HEAVEN MARIE =0) Marie is my middle name. Angel's back is starting to hurt a little and the baby is really starting to move. She is due on 9/27/07. They shaved three days off. Dude!
Rosemary- She doesn't need back surgery now. When she went in for her Pre-Op, he asked her to bend back as far as she could go. My mom ( who took her to the appointment) said she nearly bent in half. Now her disk is STILL out of place, but he said as long as she is pain free, we can put off surgery till later. If she ever needs it. He has the same problem that she has with her back. He never needed to have the operation, so maybe she won't either. They still need to keep an eye on it. DUDE!
And now for me.......I got a huge promotion at work!!!!!!!! I'm so happy. I've had to keep quit about it since the first week of April. So, now I spill my guts for you. I am going to be working as a CUSTOMER ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE or C.A.E for short. I'll be working for the biggest sales guy in the whole northern region. Wow.....The big guy of the office asked me if I wanted it and without jumping out of my chair I said "Yes, I would like that very much" I got the news on Tuesday. DUDE!!!!Tuesday, June 05, 2007
Heather
As you know, I started a new job. It is that job where I didn't get it at first, but then miraculously got it. Turned out that the first secretary/office manager had a falling out with the attorney, and left. She said she would come back in a month, but my boss decided to let her go, (even after ten years), and that's when I was called. At first, Heather had gotten my job because she had more experience, but when the other one left, Heather got hers. I then replaced Heather.
When I first saw Heather, I was shocked. I could tell she was anorexic. She was tiny. She had absolutely no fat on her, anywhere.
Heather died last week. She was only 26 years old.
I worked with her all week, week before last. She cracked me up. She was so funny. She had a funny way of laughing. We talked for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. We took a break this way. She talked of finding someone and having kids, and how she was looking forward to the day off we would get for July 4th. She was very, "American-girl," as well as a, "Daddy's girl." She was an only child. Her perfume was, "Burberry Brit." She had beautiful hair. Her mom is a hairstylist, and of course, did her hair. She was half Chinese, half Japanese. This accounted for her short stature, (and gorgeous hair). She was probably about four foot something. She really was beautiful, but always tired.
We had Monday, (Memorial Day), off, worked all day Tuesday, but when Wednesday came, things started to go wrong. When I got to the office, she wasn't there. She called and told me that she had cracked a tooth the night before, and had to go to the dentist. She went to the dentist, and came in. She wasn't there an hour before she got what she called a migraine. She said that was weird because she didn't get them very often, but she felt like she wanted to cry. She went home. The next morning, she called and told me she felt worse. That didn't sound like my migraines, but some people have the actual attack for days before they get, "the bruise." I told her to get some rest and not to worry.
The next day, Friday, nothing. No call. I called her cell phone and left a message asking her to call us. My boss called me into his office to discuss whether or not she didn't want to be there because she was feeling overwhelmed. She actually had been feeling overwhelmed, and I told him, hoping he would have mercy on her. But I also told him that the day before, she had felt worse, and now she wasn't calling, and that worried me. He told me to call again.
I called again. This time I let her hear my emotions. I asked her to please, please call us now, because we are really just very, very worried. Nothing.
About two o'clock, while my boss is in his office with new clients, I got the call. It was Heather's dad. He said, "This is Heather's dad. Heather's passed . . . she's died," his voice cracking. "I'm waiting for the Police." "What?!!!!! Oh, my God! No!" He said he had come to mow her lawn, saw her car there, and went into the house to find her dead. His little, "Daddy's girl."
We don't know exactly what happened. We are still speculating. The first secretary/office manager has come back, and taken her office back over. She told me Heather told her that she was anemic, and how she always smelled of alcohol. I thought I smelled the alcohol, too. But today, my friend told me that when people are serously anorexic, the sugar in their bodies ferment, or something, and they smell like alcoholics. I think she ultimately had a aneurism or a blood clot, triggered by the dentist. I think she was extremely fragile, and that dentist appointment was just too much.
I had to tell my boss and gather up all her personal effects, last week. Then, today, I had to call her dad to find out where to send flowers and to let him know about her stuff. Her wake and funeral information will be in tomorrow's newspaper. I'm supposed to bring it in to the office. For now, her little bag of stuff is sitting under my desk, and every now and then, I smell her, "Burberry Brit." The silk flower arrangement her mother made for her when she got the promotion, is sitting behind me, by the window, waiting. Waiting to finally go home.
I'm not sure if I'll go to the wake or the funeral. I hate death. It hits me hard. I don't think it would be good for me to go. I barely knew her. But I could tell that I was going to end up really liking her. But, oh well. She had to go. Poor little thing. Maybe she can be Greg's friend until I get there, many, many years from now.
So, goodbye, Heather L. Yee. Thank you very much for the little time we had as friends and for the kindness you showed me. I will pray for your family and for you. May the Lord bless and keep you, forever.

OMG, I LOVE HEROES!!!!!
I LOVE HEROES!!!
WHAT A SHOW! Don't you just LOVE it? It is so freakin' suspenseful! The storyline is so intertwined and smart! THERE ARE SO MANY FINE GUYS IN IT!!!!!
I haven't been able to stop thinking about it all day long. I love Peter and Nathan! They are very bonded, like me and Jenn. I KNEW Nathan would end up loving his daughter, Claire, too! I had been thinking all along that it was perfect that Nathan had the power to fly, because all he had to do was fly Peter up into the sky when he exploded, just like he did! I think their mom has the power to influence other's thoughts. I had been wondering what her power was! Now, what was their dad like?
Hiro is adorable, isn't he? He's getting a little sexy, now, eh? I KNEW his father was good! I knew there had to be something to him because he was being played by George freakin' Takei! I love him! I am a Trekkie, too, you know! Hiro is Seth's favorite. Apparently, it is said that the story is centered around, Hiro. I kinda thought it was Peter, but it was Hiro who told Peter in the first place, "save the cheerleader; save the world." So, I guess that's right. I love Ando, too! They are both so cute!
Don't you wonder about Nikki, now? What about all the horrible murders Jessica committed? Now I'm supposed to believe that Nikki was the strongest? I'm still a bit confused about her character, but isn't that suspenseful?
Do you believe that Linderman is dead? I thought he could heal!
I really hope that Matt lives! I love him! He is so normal! It's so cool how he's so sweet but tough? That little girl who finds people is such a good actress! I bet we will be seeing more of her. Who the hell could she be talking about? The man who can see her when she thinks of him. Creepy.
What happened to Mohinder's accent? He had it in the first show, and the first show, only. He's turning out to be a little disappointing. But he's full filling his purpose.
Last, but definitely not least, Sylar. Yes, Sylar. I feel terrible about getting so excited about these younger men, but Sylar! OMG! He is HOT! Like Darth Vader! I'm glad he's not dead. Really, really glad!
I am really satisfied with the ending! It left us with a sense of closesure. Supernatural did that, too. (I LOVE Supernatural!)
Guess it's time to look forward to PROJECT RUNWAY!!!!YEAH, BABY!!!!!

Finally!
Well, folks! I got a job! It is the first place that called me! I had a second interview, and then nothing. That was two weeks ago, so I knew I didn't get it. But then, Wednesday night, the attorney called me! He asked if I was still looking, and I said yes! We had a meeting, and as it turns out, the original lead secretary left! The new one, who was hired because she has more experience than me, is taking her position! Weird, eh?
The office is really close by my house, so I can go home for lunch and let my pooches out to potty. The hours are 8-5 Monday thru Friday, so I finally have a full-time position! They are giving me my hourly rate, too! The attorney kept telling me how relaxed the atomosphere there is. No rushes. No deadlines. No litigation, for that matter. He sends litigation out to another attorney! No benefits, but I don't need medical or dental because I have Medi-Cal. I am going to try to start saving for retirement myself.
I was let go from my last job on April 16th. I read my horoscope online the next day and it said that I was going to go through a four week thrifty faze. I read my Tarot cards, and they said I would get a new job very soon! I got the call about the job on the 16th of this month! That was way true!
So, hopefully I will be at this job for, at the very least, a couple of years. I am waaaaay sick of looking for a job! It is soooo nice to put the classified section of the paper to the side! I start Monday! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

It's my baby!

Hi, people! This is Angel. On May 5th I went to see my doctor to get a check up on me and the baby. Well this was my first time getting a check up anyway, so I am a nervous wreck. I go into the special room where they check me. My doctor has examined me and determined that I am five months along. My mom and I were shocked to find this out. The doctor also told me that I was going to have an ultrasound done.
I thought that it was going to be an internal ultrasound, but I soon found out that it was actually going to be an external ultrasound. When the doctor put the wand on my belly, I saw MY BABY! She told me the baby was a big baby. The first picture you see is the baby's butt. He/she has her mom's butt. The next picture you see is the baby's head, neck, and spinal column. The baby was kicking and my doctor told me that the baby was happy. My due date is September 30. Well, I'm happy to know that my baby is okay. I am also excited for when the day comes. I don't know what else to say so, love ya!

Mother's Day
Yesterday was Mother's Day, and Jenn and I were taking the kids to our parent's house where we would all enjoy Mom's burritos. Dad made an Italian Wedding Cake for dessert! When I heard it was going to be made from scratch, I was afraid. But it was delicious!
Anyway, Mom and Dad's house is just around the corner from mine. Seth and I decided to walk the dogs over there. I try to take my dogs for a walk as much as possible; usually about 3 to 4 times a week. So Seth and I are walking down the street with our two pooches Princess Yuki and Tosche-To and Jenn's pomeranian Mini Moon. Jenn was driving the girls with their boyfriends in her Jeep, as Rosie's back is messed up.
So Seth and I are walking down the street, and Jenn and the kids haven't left my driveway. We are several houses down from my house when I hear a noise and to my horror, it was a HUGE pitbull busting out of her house towards our little babies! She headed right for me and Yuki. My dogs have harnesses, and I pulled Yuki up by it and into my arms and held her up high. The dog was trying to smell Yuki's butt, and hadn't noticed Seth with the other two dogs. The owners came running out of the house and tried to contain her. She didn't have a collar on, and it was taking both of them to hold her.
She noticed Tosche-To and Mini Moon and went toward them. The owners were saying that she just wanted to play, which I could tell was true, but all it would take is one of our dogs to bite her, and the situation could've become bloody and horrific. I told Seth to pick up Tosche-To and Moon, but Moon kept running away, and he was having a hard time doing it. Finally, Jenn and the kids pulled up in the Jeep, and we stuffed our little pooches in the car! Jenn drove them and Seth and I walked.
The pitbull had both of her owners on her, still. She didn't have a collar on, and that's why they were having such a hard time! Also, they were little, short people, and for some reason, the man was holding onto his guitar almost the whole time!

Check me out!
Hey, people! I finally figured out how to put other people's blogs on here! I just had to sit down and read the instuctions. I also changed the colors! Isn't it pretty, now?
I was scared there, for a moment, when I had saved all my changes, and when I looked at the blog, all my archive months were in Spanish! Everything else was in English, too! It was weird! I went to edit the archives and just hit save again, and then everything was in English. Too weird, eh?

Lil' Wings
As all of you know my girl "Wings" is having a baby. Now that my eyes have stopped jiggling, I'm actually getting happy about it. We went to go see "mrs.manuel" and we got a lot of info. So many things have changed since I had her. I was really scared and Jess is great! She figured out that the baby might be coming in the beginning of October or the beginning of November. What a sweet sixteen, huh?
She has her first appointment with the OBGYN on Wednesday. Wings will have her first Ultrasound to determine the real due date. Yea!

Socks
A few days ago, Jenn noticed that my neighbors were moving. That's right, the people with the barking dog.
The dog went from barking to yipping, then yipping turned into howling. I realized that the people weren't sleeping there, anymore. She was trying to tell them not to leave her. That was heartbreaking enough. I kept my eye on the place even more to make sure they weren't going to leave her.
Then next day, while coming home from an errand, I spotted two dogs running down the street in front of my house. I took a closer look, and yep, it was the barking dog with a pit bull mother dog. I called to them, and to my surprise, they both obediently came to me, and I put them in my back yard. I then walked over to her house.
I spotted the guy and asked him if his dog was missing. He said, "uh, yeah, she must've gotten out of the gate! We're looking for a home for her, do you know of anybody who needs a dog?" I could tell that he had let her out! I said I'd try to find her a home, how long do I have? He told me a day and that her name is Socks.
So I take her back over there, so she could spend her last night in her home, where she would be more comfortable then nervous at my house. I called Rosie's boyfriend, Matt, and told him about the pit bull momma dog. That was the easiest adoption, ever! He took her and has named her, Girlie.
The next morning, I slept until 10 am. I sat right up in my bed, panicked, because she always woke me up as soon as the sun came up. I put on my clothes, and went in my backyard to see if she was there. She wasn't. The gate was propped open. She was gone.
I jumped in my car and began driving all around my neighborhood, all the while crying and calling her name. I didn't find her.
It has been a couple of days, now, and I still hate the silence that has replaced her annoying bark. I feel terrible about the fact that I didn't take her from him right then. I feel like I failed her, and now she is probably more scared than ever. I prayed for her; that she finds a good home where the family loves her and shows it. A home where she doesn't have to be outside and can be part of her "pack."
Wherever she is, they'll never know her real name, or what she went through before they got her. She may even be dead, or still running. These thoughts torture me, so I try not to think about it. I just pray for her whenever I think of her, and have prayed to God that I can reunite with and explain to her when I am delivered to Heaven. Bless you, little Socks. Good luck, sweetheart.

Our Kids

These are our kids as they look right now. The top one is Jennifer's, (aka PurpleOceanMoon), oldest, Rosemary aka Miss Rabbit. She is going to have her back surgery on June 5. She will be 17 on May 27th. The middle one is Jenn's baby, Angelia aka Wings. She is our young mother who will turn 16 on November 11. She is due in September.
The bottom one is my son, Seth. He will turn 15 on June 11. He doesn't blog, or even read this one. He is very stubborn; very 14.
Just thought I'd show them to everyone. My sister Jennifer and I love our kids very, very much

What the Hell!
So yesterday was very hard. It's end of the month at work so, I've been swamped with rushes, etc. Towards the end of the day I GOT A MIGRAINE! Wow, didn't see that coming. I had to leave work 10 mins. early, this never happens.....ever. So I went home and my sister who has a lot of experience with this sort of thing, ( see pervious blogs), and I can always count on her. She was ready with the meds (God bless her). I went home immediately. I rested and when I felt better I made some food. I was just sitting there (minding my own business) when my Angelia walked in with her boyfriend. They didn't smile or say much when they came in. This is not good. She always smiles and says "Hi Mom." They both sit down on the bed and she looked at me. I know my child and I was scared. She said that she knew I had a migraine and wasn't sure we should talk now. I guess I started to listen when she said, " I haven't had my period in two months. " That got my attention. Duh, Jenn, she is that age. I was 15 once myself. Was I lucky? No, I was on birth control.
Why, WHAT THE HELL!?! Flashes, flashes of my babies face. I started to lose it. I asked them to leave my room. I cried and thought "What now? What the hell?" I called my sister and told her. Crazy Bitch puts things in perspective. Find out what Angel wants to do about it. (She is just a child herself! How does SHE know what to do?)
I guess this is one of those "Put yourself in God's hands," kind of things. Great, just monkey freakin' great. My daughter wants to have this baby. Ok, I'm going to be a Grandma. Is it just a coincidence that this kid is coming on the fifth anniversery of my poor Greg's passing? Or are there other forces at work here. Why? There must be a reason. There has to be. I just keep seeing her as my baby. WHAT THE HELL!!!

Aaay, Boba! Ooh dat soy!

Do you recognize that sentence? If you do, you may be a nerd; like me.
I have been a nerd as long as I can remember. Other kids just knew there was something wrong with me. I had big, googly eyes, fuzzy, unmanageable hair, and later I got fat. I just looked weird. There was a point, in high school, however, where I got to be popular, but I think it was because I tranferred from a notoriously tough high school to one with nicer kids. I was popular due to fear. Oh, well! Whatever worked, eh?
Several days ago, I was watching "Revenge of the Nerds," with my son, and I got to thinking how the definition of a nerd has changed. Back in the day, when Revenge of the Nerds was made, it was the smart kids who were nerds. I don't believe that is the case, today.
So what is a modern day nerd? For one, excessive fans. Fans of Star Trek, (do you speak Klingon?) Star Wars, (like me), Stargate SG1, Lord of the Rings, (like PurpleOceanMoon). . . I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Many modern day nerds are fans who go to the extreme. They REALLY get into their fantasies. A loss of touch from reality. This makes them seem like they have no life. Folks without "lives" don't get any respect, and therefore, become nerds. But as one of this kind of nerd, I personally don't care what others think! Star Wars is the best saga the 20th century had to offer! So, if we don't care what others think, does that still make us nerds?
Another kind of nerd is the kind who doesn't have any fashion sense. They look ridiculous, so society makes funs of them, and keeps away from them, lest their lack of fashion sense rubs off onto others, making even more nerds. Isn't this ridiculous in itself? But I must admit, I am one of the first people to make fun of the fashionably challenged. It's just funny! I don't make fun of people who are poor, and can't buy fashionable clothes, but I DO make fun of the folks who obviously have the money, just not the style! Are folks born like this? Like I was born without a sense of direction? (I get lost. I have been living in Sacramento for over 20 years, and I still get lost. Mapquest is my friend. What a nerd!)
The last kind of nerd I can think of are the stupid people. This is the direct reversal of the orginal nerd. I was also this kind of nerd. I made a touchdown in my freshman year in gym class. I was so happy, until I realized that it was for the other team; I had run the wrong way. Nerd! I was the kid who didn't seem to understand what everyone else was doing. Nerd! I was the kid who was failing school. Nerd! I did learn, just later on. I was the first time driver who kept crashing and doing stupid things on the street. A big sorry to the three cars I hit while just trying to get out of my sister's apartment's parking lot. (By the way, my driver's record is perfect!) The photo above is me in the height of nerdiness. Check the fashion sense, though, eh?
Did I miss any other kind of nerd? Were you a nerd? What kind?
